FGR281S is a Dennis F60 Emergency Tender formerly of the Durham County Fire Brigade. It is powered by a Rolls Royce 8 cylinder B81 engine coupled to a manual 5 speed gearbox. There are two power take offs, one for the Hydrovane 25cfm rotary compressor and the other for a 7.5kW 110 Volt generator. Lighting masts can be manually extended from the rear of the machine

FGR281S for a long time worked together with DHN999J the Dennis Heavy Rescue Tender at Darlington Fire Station. In the middle of the picture is the Tyne and Wear MFB Dennis F123 TL which was stationed at Pilgrim Street and ran as Delta 3 throughout it's whole operational life.
